UPDATE:
Revision 3.0.1 has been posted. This version adds formatting so all
worksheets will print out in landscape orientation. Also, the workbook
overview has been incorporated as a fifth worksheet to make the tool
self-contained in one XLS file.

Subject: [CQ-Contest] Sweep the FLQP this weekend... this Excel tool
willhelp!
I created and posted the 2010 FLQP Mobile Schedule in Excel 2003 format.
This tool can help participants achieve a 67-county sweep. There are four
worksheets in the workbook; three reports and the source data:
1) By Time - This report shows the sequential clock time and which counties
are being activated by which mobile stations. For example, when it's 19:30
on Saturday, you can determine which mobiles are activating which counties.
2) By County - This report shows the alphabetical list of counties and at
what times it will be activated by which mobile stations. The sequence
number shows the county number in the itinerary of the mobile station. For
example, if you still need Pinellas county on Sunday you can look to see the
ETA of the four opportunities to work that county.
3) County Visits - This reports shows the alphabetical list of all counties,
their abbreviation, how many mobiles will activate the county on Saturday,
Sunday, and in total. Counties with 2 or less activations are highlighted in
yellow to draw attention to this fact. Counties not activated by any mobile
stations are highlighted in red. For example, no mobile stations will visit
Pinellas county on Saturday, so if a fixed station has not been logged the
first day, there are only 4 "chances" of a mobile contact on Sunday. The
right side of this worksheet shows the itineraries with the ETA's for each
mobile.
4) Source Data - This worksheet is the raw data and calculation scratch-pad
used to compile the information for the first three worksheets.
The data used to compile the listings was retrieved from the FLQP website. A
general assumption was made that mobile stations would participate the full
10-hours in each segment. The county activations were then calculated by
dividing the number of counties listed into the 10-hour contest period. The
ETA for each succeeding county was determined by adding this time to the
previous ETA. The workbook further assumes all mobile stations will begin
operating at 16:00 on Saturday and 12:00 on Sunday.
I posted this workbook and the DOC file on my website:
