I have started a section on the Contesting Compendium under operating
ethics titled "Ten commandments for contesters"
It's an easy way to get your feet wet and contribute to the site -
simply add your succinct ethical guideline, or edit those already there
(hint - no reason why there should be only 10). To edit or add your
thoughts, all you need to do is create an account (with your call-sign
as the user name).
Also new on the Compendium - under Technology, a section called "Station
design alternatives"
<http://wiki.contesting.com/index.php/Station_design_alternatives>. The
idea is to collect articles about overall station design, for contest
stations ranging from simple SO1R setups to ultra-low-buget solutions to
"anything-goes" multi-multis.
I have primed the pump with an article republished from NCJ that I wrote
about my SO2R setup, but hope that others will submit either original
material or reprints (for which you have copyright permission, as all
NCJ authors do, automatically). I recall several over the years, and
will be trying to find them again, but you can help. Drop me a note and
I'll take it from there.
