For the past three ARRL DX CW contests we have traveled with one then
two K2's and this year a K2 and a K3 (fairly loaded).
Our general consensus is "from the other side of the pileup the K2 is
a more than adequate transceiver and much easier to take as a carry-on
than a K3".
Looking at the figures for the K2 at
http://www.elecraft.com/K2_perf.htm and the figures on the IC-7200 in
the QST review, I would think a K2/100 is a much better choice.
