With permission of the moderators of CQ-Contest, I'm happy to announce the
re-purposing of the Skimmertalk reflector to focus on the NON-regulatory
aspects of CW Skimmer.
With the rules issue pretty well settled, a number of us are planning to
give VE3NEA's revolutionary software a serious flight test in this fall's
contests, operating in whichever class the rules of a given contest
dictate. I am particularly looking forward to using it in Sweepstakes,
where it should do a lot to enliven the Sunday trudge. As we get ready,
Skimmertalk will offer the opportunity to exchange ideas, trouble-shoot and
discuss the best ways to use CW Skimmer capability in real-world contest
conditions.
