I've vacationed there for years. At the north end of the island the
Intracoastal is less than 100 feet wide. I don't remember the waterway being
anywhere near 200 meters wide up there. There's your trouble.

Looks to me like it's separated by some type of river/marsh from the
mainland when I zoom in on the map on Google.
Plus what's with the Maryland Western Group NA-141 ? They are in Chesapeake
Bay and not the Atlantic Ocean.
