Only four weeks to Dayton. Here is an alert passed along by the Ohio ARRL
Section Manager. From the web site listed, it appears that there is major
construction on I-75 between downtown Dayton and the HARA area, and on
Needmore
Road, a main artery from I-75 and Main Street to HARA Arena.
Forewarned is forearmed, I hope.

To all amateurs radio operator's attending May's Dayton Hamvention
All hams, especially if you live in Ohio, are well aware of the Yellow
Barrel Plague which infects Ohio's highways and byways this time of
year. The Dayton Hamvention committee is warning everyone that the 2008
Show may become a traffic nightmare if you do not have the right
traffic route information.
This the Committee has on it's web site the alternate routes and
possible tie up traffic problems to make your Hamvention experience as
much as enjoyable one as always.
Check now and check often, between now and May 16th -Hamvention's first
day, the following URL to avoid traffic tie ups:
http://www.hamvention.org/hv2008/media/trafficnews.html.
And enjoy the show.
