This is not a viable option. Tampering with the logs in any manner reduces 
or completely eliminates their usefulness for research or for the 
development of new adjudication software tools. Best to leave the open logs 
alone and let the DXCC folks figure out a new way to handle any problem that 
may exist in another way.
