Truly sad news... Dimitar's vision for creating WWYC back in the late
90's gathered a bunch of the best rising superstars for contesting and
made it a reality - with several hundred young contesters representing
their countries from around the world.
Dimitar, we will miss you.

Sad news coming from Bulgaria: Our friend and co-founder of WWYC (#2),
Dimitar LZ5AZ passed away yesterday at age 23. Besides his on-air activities
he was also for many years the webmaster of this very website, wwyc.net. Our
condolences to his family, he'll be missed and never forgotten.
