Would it be all that difficult for the contest logging programmers to
program a button into their logging software that automatically sends the
log to the appropriate sponsor immediately.
---------------------------
http://www.RFSport.com has a simplified/proprietary logging client that
includes:
1. Realtime Internet Scoreboarding
2. Realtime Internet Log Entry Display (calls are masked
   during the contest, unmasked afterward)
3. Automatic Entry Classification (by geographical area
   and/or ERP)
4. Log-locking at the end of the event (further log editing
   is not allowed)
5. Automatic full-Log Upload at the end of the event
So you don't have "always on" Internet? No problem. The logging system caches
your logging activity. As soon as you have the opportunity to connect to the
Internet (ie- dial-up periodically during the event), it will batch-upload
everything automatically...even if it is days after the event has ended (ie -
after you return home from your DXpedition).
Alas...only VHFers and Stu Perry Top Band DX Challenge contesters have access
to this system. Note: the logging client auto-uploads only to the RFSport.com
system for now (you still need to follow the legacy Cabrillo e-mail method to
submit logs to sponsors of non-RFSport.com events). [[Ok...so your wish is
*almost* fully granted <grin>]]
