It seems to vary by operator, but I listened to the 40m operator
continuously last evening for well over an hour and he never gave an
ID. Not once. Several cluster postings from even before I started
listening had made the same comment, which is one of the reasons I was
paying close attention. Pretty sad, but kind of funny at the same
time. The herd was almost 30 KHz wide and nobody could say for sure who
they were trying to work.
