Skolaut, Chuck K0BOG <cskolaut@arrl.org> is the ARRL IARU monitoring
person. Reports originating in the USA should go to him. In addition to
the usual signal parameters, a quick screen capture of one of the MANY
spectral analysis programs out there (one of my favorites is Spectran) can
prove to be a valuable fingerprint on the signal and help determine if we
all are hearing the same (or not) signal.
I have not received any reports of this in Canada but I will turn the beam
in that direction one of these mornings and see what I hear.
Regarding the SuperDARN radars mentioned earlier, they are listed as
operating from 8 to 20 mhz. http://radar2.usask.ca/about.html
I know one of the persons (an amateur and contester) involved at one of the
sites nearby and am quite sure SuperDARN would not be transmitting in any
amateur band.
