Hi,
This is a reminder that the ninth annual "Ontario QSO Party" takes place
this weekend Saturday, April 16th, 2005 at 18:00 UTC to Sunday, April
17th, 2005 at 18:00 UTC.
Contest takes place on all HF Bands (160-10m except WARC) both SSB & CW
and on the VHF/UHF bands, FM Simplex, SSB & CW.
Stations can be worked twice (once on SSB and once on CW) on the HF
bands and once only on the VHF/UHF bands regardless of mode.
Mobile & Rover stations can be worked again when they change
county/district/regional municipality
Points: 1 point SSB, 2 points CW, 5 points contacts on VHF/UHF bands,
10 points for contacts with VA3RAC and VE3ODX.
Multipliers: Are claimed on each band.
Outside Ontario stations claim the 48 Ontario
counties/districts/regional municipalities.
Inside Ontario stations claim the Ontario multipliers, plus Canadian
province/territories, USA states, DXCC countries.
This contest generates some good activity with lots of "multi-county"
mobiles and rovers planning to "hit the road".
