Dennis !
About the morse trainer:
I had the same problem with not smooth (completely unreadable actually
!) audio signs. I am also running Windows 98 SE on an old computer
(Celeron 400, 128Mb, 66Mhz bus)
But I followed the guidance of the readme file: Go into the directory,
where you have installed the program and change the value in the
ini-file:
Instead of the audio buffer number 3 (which is standard) change it to
the maximum number 5….
I found no problem with audio anymore with this setting ! and found now
it is a great program !!!!
Also with the changed audio buffer setting my keyboard is certainly fast
enough – I am contesting around the 20 WPM level…..
Greetings,
Ulli, PA5AT
