While we all hate the fact that the line scores are out of QST, and we all know
that the biggest spenders in ham radio are contesters, the future ham
demographic shows that ARRL members will not be the "million points in every
contest" type of operator.
The ARRL sees the future in shack-on-the-belt, no-coders who thrive on "public
service", and providing communications for walkathons, etc.
It's obvious that it's a #'s game - isn't it?
