Igor, It was just "one" operator. It was not a designated and authorized representative for all "Italian operators". As for other operators being labelled "hotshots". Well, it is a contest, and contests draw out competitive spirits, and competitive spirits evoke interesting personalities that might otherwise be better contained. Maybe we need an icing rule for contests. Hockey fight, anyone? N5RP ===============================> At 11:53 11/1/2004, Igor Sokolov wrote: The way one gives his call sign is also important. He burst out in a lot of insulting words about stupid people asking him to repeat his call sign which he gives out in CLEAR ENGLISH and immediately started to call CQ with his voice recorder the very same way he did before. Well, he spoiled my mood indeed. I had much better opinion about Italian operators before I met this guy _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
