Thanks for all that support (I *think* it's support) on the book.
The goal was to create a "Desktop Elmer" for new hams and a friendly
introduction for the passerby who probably has unflattering mental images of
ham radio. Time will tell, I suppose. The sample chapter (under "Read
Excerpt" at
http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0764559877.html) gives
you an idea of the tone.
I'm ready for my appearance on Oprah, you bet! (Might need an Extreme
Makeover, though...)
