we be safer with a rebuilt socket 7 system?
I would first verify that your problem is not the CRT display. You
can easily check this by turning the display power off while leaving the
PC on. This was my biggest RFI problem until I recently replaced my 17"
CRT with a 15" LCD display...voila, all my PC birdies disappeared!
I bought a used 15" LCD on eBay for $150. The usable screen size
of 15" LCD displays is only very slightly less than a 17" CRT, the RFI
improvement is incredible, and it's simply being a much better display.
This was the best $150 I've spent in a long time!
