Before we have a passionate frenzy of 5NNK-ing, be sure: a) The preamp is OFF b) The noise blanker is OFF c) The DSP functions are OFF d) The clicks are still there if you turn down the RF gain and/or change AGC settings Any of those things can cause your receiver to freq out close to a very strong signal. And, of course, all of us Big Time Contesters will have the Big Signals... If someone is really clicking/buzzing/chirping/spurring, they need to know about it. 73, Ward N0AX |
