Jurgen,
15+ years ago I bought a Heil "replacement" boom for their small foam
headsets. It is the boom with mic element, cord and a mounting hole at the
end of the boom. I drilled into the side of a set of headphones and bolted
it on. I have also heard people epoxy a short bolt on the side. Forgot
where I ordered it.

Tnx to all of you for your replies.
I won't post all the replies I received to the list (the large majority of
them came through the list anyway), but if anyone is interested I'll make a
compilation and send it via private email.
The majority of the replies seem pretty negative towards the Proset+ though.
I think I'll buy a HC4-element and try to find a way to make a boom to mount
it on my favorite headphones... This will be a lot cheaper and I'll be sure
the audio will be how I like it ! Moreover I never had any problems wearing
those headphones for 24 hrs yet...
