Just my 2 cents worth. It would be good if a book was written about
contesting in the manner of "DXing on the
Edge-The Thrill of 160 meters" that would illustrate the history and
advancements in contesting etc.
And a second book like the "Contest Cookbook" updated to the current state
of the art.
I think there may be a little mis-conception that all contest growth will
come from readers of QST based on what they see there. There seems to
exist a ham population that despises the league and all that it does. For
those it would be wasted. Actually they may most all be anti-contest and
blame that on the league as well.
I do totally agree that more positive contest related things can be said.
