A limited response. I use a TS-950SDX as a primary radio and a TS-570DG
as a second radio. I've also used two 570's and I don't recommend that.
The problem is that the 570's front end can't handle strong signals on CW,
so the agc pumps when there is an adjacent strong signal, which desensitizes
the RX and prevents you from hearing the weak one you are tuned to. I used
a 570 in Sprint CW once and was totally frustrated (other than that, it is a
delightful radio, with lots of nice features). I suspect two 850's would
work out very well.

- now turn the speed know fully clockwise and send a few dits, then
rotate it fully counterclockwise and do the same;

- now turn the speed know to the maximum speed and ask the speed by
pressing 5+6 and sending an S (I get 60);
No problems here so far...but if I turn the speed button while
transmitting with my key the speed range is adjusted to apparently
random values...I am trying right now, I have just used my key while
turning the speed knob, now if I turn the knob to the full speed I get
the correct range (15-60) but the maximum speed is pretty slower, in
fact if I ask for the speed (with the S request) I get only 37, and
there is nothing I can do to get the correct upper speed other than a
reset and a new range setting.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Any ideas about a possible cure?
