I use both my FT100 & 847 for contesting but in the major events, they are
awfully wide & it's very difficult to pick up weak stations on my frequency
with strong interference from both sides. I was thinking of upgrading both
Radios with INRAD's Crystal filters for SSB , They offer a variety of
different widths. Can you go too narrow ? . What would be the best choice
for contesting ?
