I guess that's why it's called "assisted". I've sometimes spotted
stations just by the prefix, to let people know that there is a 9G
or a BY on a particular frequency, but was asked not to do that...
Re the subject title, I've heard the term "busted" from contesters
for years, I don't think it started with the "UBN" reports.
