Scott,
The Yukon Amateur Radio Association has a nice station up on
the side of Gray Mountain. It is an ideal place for a
single-op event. The club lets it out for $100.
If you feel more like the great outdoors, you can camp at my
place, the station is not quite as good, but it is free for
the asking, and comes with the bonus of being able to use
"VY1RAC" and sign RAC for your multiplier.
I need a lot of notice and the club station requires
reservation through VY1RM, Ron. All money that is donated
by this type of operation at the YARA station goes toward
improving it for the next operators there. It is a good bet
for this kind of contest.
