I have gotten two more noteworthy responses to the problem of 60Hz ripple in computer monitors. First, flat LCD displays are pretty much immune from EMI. At $1,000 or more per copy, that cure is a bit pricey. N1RC also suggests that the EMI may be coming in on the power and data cables. Adding snap-on torroids may be a solution.
