On last night's NBC Nightly News there was a brief item that looked back at
the pioneering technology and public service efforts of amateur radio. They
mentioned the aging ham population, then segued into a feature of the Kid's
Day contest with footage of (I assume) the N6TR harmonics operating K7RAT,
followed by an interview with N6TR and others.
It was a very nice piece, and some good PR for ham radio and contesting...
