During the RAC Contest (look for us again July 1st - that's the next one)
we do this all the time. It is a dual mode contest and simultaneous
operation is permitted/encouraged. The towers here are fairly widely
spaced, but no special filtering is used. The remote site (CC ATB34
tribander and inv vees for 40 and 80 on a 50' tower) is about 400m
distant. Stubs and hb bandpass filters are used for interband rejection
but these do nothing to help same band operation. Radios used are Yaesu
1000D or MP. In terms of frequency separation, 40m is the toughest with
phone and cw operation usually being only 25 to 50 khz apart. The main
antenna is the 3el yagi and the remote is a simple inverted Vee, and both
sites use amps, without interaction. This is easier to achive on the other
bands and the remote site is very usable for same mode multiplier chasing
etc, up to with 10 khz or so.
