I have been asked exactly what parts I need to fix the SWR/Power indication
on the amp. Here is a list. The air trimmer and the ceramic disk both
shorted. The result was direct output rf on the remaining components.
1 18pf disc ceramic at least 1kV
1 2-8 pf air trimmer (high voltage as well)
1 1N4148 or 1N914B needed... 2, matched 1N4148 or 1N914Bs are best
1 22 ohm 1% resistor 1/2 W... ....2 matched resistors would be best
1 .01/50V ceramic disk
If anyone decides to pick the stuff up at a local parts store, please
contact me via e-mail so that I can make arrangements to send you the green
stamps.
I appreciate someone near a store doing this for me. This way there will
not be a problem with wrong parts and returns over long distances via mail.
