Excuse this late posting . . . jet-lagged and back to work too soon
afterwards, but thanks to all we worked at ZF2RV on Little Cayman during
the CQWW CW test. Had a great time while on the island before, during and
after the contest. Sincerest thanks goes to the 4 other ops who helped
make this fun: Mark ZF2MC (N7MQ) Antenna Support Specialist, Al ZF2RA
(K7AR) Pileup Artist, Gene ZF2BV (K7dBV) The Lean, Mean-CW Machine, and Lee
ZF2LH (N7NU) Are We Havin' Fun Or What.
Final log being polished up a bit, but . . . 4.2 mil. +/- with wires and
verticals stuck in the sand or in Coconut trees. We'll post the final
score soon.
Worked LOTS of JA friends during and outside the test with GREAT signal
strengths on 80-40-20-15 (especially 40!), and several "rare" callers such
as 9X, XT and ZB (at least from W7-land).
Our first group effort from here, and we're sure gonna try to do something
like this again.
