I did a part-time effort too, but was rather frustrated with an apparent
problem with signal strength (mine) here in the coastal-impaired environment.
I've had less problems at the QRP level in past contests!! I believe my
antennas here are the best they've been in years, but I just couldn't seem to
break through the qrm. Every QSO was a challenge. Admittedly, I did not get
on during the best openings of the contest, but the bands overall were the
best they've been here in four years! Anyone else from W5 or surrounding
areas experiece the same problems, or do I have to go back to the drawing
board with my antennas?
