Melvin / Mick,
Good question, perhaps this could be considered Single Operator
Single Band ASSISTED category ?? I would be interested in what
the contest comittee's thoughts would be.

Hi there,
During the cqww ssb contest we used NA 10.04.
I like to convert the data to ct 9.27.
I do have conv1, but this doen't support na 10. (just till na 7)
In NA there is a utility to convert the data to ct .res.
I have tried to read the data with all the version I have with r2b.exe
(from version 6 till 9), but no sucses
Who do I convert na 10.04 data to ct9 ?
Why? I want to use the qsl option in ct9!!

Maybe I missed somebody posting the obvious reply to this thread as I
was going through the deluge of mail received while I was in HC8, so
here is goes again possibly:
No matter what the rules say, the person who omits his callsign from
the Sweepstakes is really only hurting himself. Everyone expects to
receive the information in the order that 98% of us send it in, which
is something like
123 A N5KO 74 STX
When you don't send all the information, and in that order, you get
people on the other end fumbling around on their computers with the
TAB key and back-TAB and so forth trying to get the data into the
right fields (not all logging programs are this way, but most of them
are). While they are fumbling around, they are not sending you their
part of the exchange. Once they finish fumbling, then they tell you
their part. Meanwhile, you are *waiting* for all this to transpire so
you can move on to the next QSO.
Here's another scenario. I dial by a QSO in progress and I hear the
guy is in Wyo, and I need that for a mult. When the Wyo station says
QRZ, he gets stepped on when he sends his call. I still answer him
anyhow even though I don't know his call because I *know* he will give
it as part of the exchange. When he doesn't, I have to ask him for a
repeat which takes another over. Again, more time lost.
Leaving your call out of the Sweepstakes exchange is false economy, to
be sure.

Please send these to 3830@contesting.com, not to cq-contest@tgv.com.
Cross posting them to both mailing lists completely undermines the
whole reason that the 3830 list was created. Thanks.
