I received this over the governments inter company mail today and thought it
worthy of passing along....Please distribute freely....
A virus called "GOOD TIMES" and sent via the INTERNET is one of the worst
we've experienced as it DOES NOT REQUIRE A DOWNLOAD to infect your machine.
Subject: GOOD TIMES
IF THIS MESSAGE COMES ACROSS YOUR SCREEN IN THE "SUBJECT" area..
DELETE IT WITHOUT READING IT!!!!
"GOOD TIMES" attaches itself to the EMAIL message and when the ascii
buffer loads the "GOOD TIMES" E-MAIL it cocks the hammer on the virus. When
you READ the message..the hammer drops....rewriting your hard drive and
putting your processor in a Nth - complexity infinite binary loop...
The virus was authored by a "America on Line" subscriber and is highly
intellegent as it will send copies of itself to everyone whose EMAIL address
is contained in a receive-mail file or a sent-mail file if it can find it.
AGAIN...DO NOT READ THE EMAIL with "Good Times" in the SUBJECT LINE!
DELETE IT AT ONCE!
