Band Q's

40 27
20 43
77 X 26 Mults = 2,002 points
The DSP-59+ made the difference between absolutely no copy (S9+ line noise
during
rain all contest long) and Q4-5; amazing gadget! And on 40, no heterodynes!
I just have to put up a better antenna for 80/75....just to be heard! Tnx to
all.

Lee, VP2VE, is operating KP2A today. John's house has been gutted and
all of his towers are down. There is currently *no* power or telephone
service on St. Thomas, so *no* way to check on the health & welfare of
individual people. John, KP2A, is currently in Miami but will be back
on St. Thomas on Monday, transportation allowing. KP2N has also been
on the air today, and V3MA has been operating from a boat in Crown Bay.
All this has been taking place on 14.245 and 14.165. John's many
Contesting friends (with their foot-stomping signals) might want to
monitor those frequencies to help keep them clear of curiosity seekers
and to see if they can render any assistance.

Noticed in the ARRL DX test results, my call wasn't listed anywhere. The
score I sent in, single band 10, was about twice the score of the to
score listed. Oh well, there's always next time. hi. 73
