Hi Jose,
Yes, this is a "pure" CW speed contest, nothing to
do with QRM, QSB, etc. operator handling skills.
Just a speed copying test.
And it is just a test of human copy ability, as were
the "old fashioned" telegraphy contests years ago.

Amen. You will never see a radio in my shack with a knob labeled
"clarifier". Might as well label the big one "frequency changer" ;-)

I get a magazine that costs me nothing and has no Contest results. It
also contains no complicated construction articles and no boring stuff
about emergency communications. Also missing are any of the lengthy
political rigamarole and editorials.
It has lots and lots of stuff about great new amatuer products.
You may have heard of it it's called
The Ham Radio Outlet Catalouge

If you really mean ***EN99***, it is plenty rare - only one or 2 know active
stations -- but it is located up near Baffin Bay in the CAnadian Artic.
If you mean ***EM99***, it has only a few 2 meter stations active. It is
real rare on 222 and 432 and even rarer on the microwaves.
BUT what is your call - you don't say and your E-mail address does not
help me guess.

Hello John,
(1) I will send my QSL via buro.
(2) I hope to get your QSL via buro. I did not handle QSL via buro or
direct mail.
(3) My manager handle the QSL via direct mail with special reason. For Example,
your buro is not works well, you want to get some award A.S.A.P etc...
I am sorry that my sentence causes misunderstanding.
Thanks advice > Bruce AA6KX

Hi gang,
I will be trying something new (for me) this weekend. I hope to be
active in the WPX CW contest in a semi-serious way. Any strategy tips I
should know about?
How about a propagation forecast? Where can I tune on the info highway
to find out which day of the weekend is going to be the "good" one.
Look for me under one of those 2x1 calls! Thanks for the help.

Thanks to all who responded my questions.
I had 6replies and 2 requests to have the info which I had.
Yes, I'll summarize the informations I got in a week or so.
I'll have the "RUFZ callsign practice program" and I'll set
it at my info-server. Then anyone will be able to have the
program by sending a request email to the info-server.
I've been preparing for the JARL General Meeting in JA7 in
this weekend(same date as WPX CW, too bad!) so the installation
will be made in next week.
