Antenna Software Results

First of all, thanks to all who responded to my question about the best antenna 
modeling software. Several people asked for a summary of responses, so here is 
is.

ELNEC  (62.5% of the responses)
Pros
  1. Will work on a 386
  2. Shows Isometric view of antenna
  3. Good documentation
  4. No copy protection
  5. Inexpensive

Cons
  1. Needs a math co-processor to do complex calculations.



AO 4.x (25% of the responses)
Pros
  1. Good Graphics
  2. More features and can do more complex calculations
  3. Has a good optimization algorithm

Cons
  1. Copy protected


So if you have the same questions I had, maybe this will help with your 
decision. As for me, I think I'll be an ELNEC owner in the next couple of 
weeks.
