Running CT on new MACs?

I am contemplating buying a new Apple MacIntosh for home use.  I
know there's been this flurry of PR about how newer Apple and IBM
platforms are more "compatible" to present a united front against
Microsoft.

So, how "compatible" is a new Mac LCIII, for example, in terms of
running, CT for DOS, for example?  Would it be too slow?  Is there
conversion/translation software required?

Or is there a Mac version of CT?
