In looking at the different 200 watt rigs that do dual receive, the Yaesu
FT1000MP MK5 is starting to come down to some nice prices. Most of the
people on the eham.net reviews for this rig love it, although there is a
sizable minority who seemed to have had nothing but problems with it.

How is this rig doing with age? Are reliability problems starting to show
up? Are there parts that can no longer be obtained?

I like the concept of the FT2000D, with 200 watts on 6m as well, but it
seems that the receiver isn't near as good as the one on the FT1000MP, and
probably not as good as my Kenwood TS950SD from 25 years ago.

The FTDX5000 looks tempting also, but it seems that the OLED display has a
good chance at going bad, has Yaesu taken care of that in the newer
produced rigs? The Icom 7800 and FTDX9000 are probably out of my price
range although I would love a FTDX9000MP!
