Rick;
It's the bearing on the main tuning encoder. You may be
able to work a light oil down the shaft to free it, but
most likely, the problem will come back down the road.
There's also a drag clutch on the shaft, behind the knob.
See if it frees up if you remove the clutch parts. I do
know
that the clutch spring, and the little nylon washers are
still
available. Let us know how you do.
