[Yaesu] question tnx

Hello all maybe someone can HELP me. 
I have a FT-1000MP MV and when i listen on 7 or 14Mhz i have signals from s59 
in a few minutes (3min) thesignal and modulation from that station dropped 
down, when i push my PTT switch of the mic on/off the signal came direct back 
to 59.I hear that there is a function on the radio to clean the relais. 
Please can someone tell me if this is right.
