Hello Spiros
Here are my settings for connecting MkV to MMTTY and also N1MMLogger
program. I would go back to basics and just connect the MkV to the PC with
a three wire serial cable. Disconnect everything else until this is working.
In MMTTY Set up serial coms for MkV in this way
Option-Set up MMTTY-TX-Radio Command
Port select correct com port - use three wire cable TX-RX- GND
baud 4800 8 bits 2 stop bits no parity
Do not check any other boxes on top half of screen
select VFO polling FT-1000MP
frequency offset off polling intervil 0.5 seconds
Very bottom box is Yaesu HF (FT-1000MP)
Click ok to accept this
I use FSK keying and set up the PTT com port in the TX window for whatever
com port I am using for FSK.
The two common problems for this set up not working are
wrong number of stop/data bits for the MP and wrong cable connections.
I hope this helps please fell free to email me if you need more information.
