[Yaesu] ft1000mp mark-v with Al-811

Greetings,
 
I want to hook up the ft1000mpmkv with an ameritron al-811. Is it as simple
as hooking the 'tx ground' to the amp relay, and the connecting the ALC
jacks or is it more complicated?
 
Any help here is appreciated.
