[Yaesu] FT-990 no Xmitt on 15 &17meters

My Ft-990 has devolved a problem. It will not transmit on 15 or 17 meters. 
Receive is fine. Also, other bands are all OK. I spoke with Yeasu tech support 
and they mentioned the 'LPF" assembly but stated that this was beyond the scope 
of telephone support. I guess this is the Low Pass Filter assembly? Anyone have 
any experience with this? Can someone tell me where the LPF is located in the 
unit.
