The 8 pin DIN plug pin numbering when viewed from the solder side "Facing the mating side of the plug and moving in a clockwise direction from the key at the bottom of plug insert) 7 1 4 2 5 3 8 6 in the middle of plug" is correct and as shown in the Yaesu manual. Ignore any other numbering scheme that may be stamped on the plug. 73, Steve WB6RSE |
