[Yaesu] FT-1000 Carrier Freq Alignment

Would appreciate help with an FT-1000 alignment question.  The service 
manual clearly gives directions on aligning the carrier frequency for the 
subreceiver (RX-2) on page 4-3.  I can't find carrier alignment instructions 
for the main receiver anywhere.  Can someone please point me to them?
