[Yaesu] FT-51R vs 50R

Hello All,

I'm in the market for a dual band HT and 2 VFO's would be nice!

Can anyone tell me why Yaesu stopped selling the 51R (in the USA) and
replaced it with the 50R?  Yaesu UK seems to still list/sell the 51R on
their web site.

Comparing the specs, the 51R seems to blow away the 50R in features, not to
mention the dual VFOs.
