Well thanks to all the replies!
I have just carried out the mod - it took a couple of hours - no real
problems that couldn't be solved by being 20years younger !!
Getting the plug connecting to the "dim" switch off was the biggest
problem. No need to take the rig apart again to switch to R ANT or E
BPF. I can now use 1 antenna to listen with both rxs on different bands
- and I can use the second rx BPF pad to stop overloading - Beverage
operation is still available as well.
A big improvement to the operation of the rig .
Hope to have all the mod details on Geo's - K0FF - site soon.
