Yes,
I saw it at Dayton. It basically has FIVE changes from the original 1000MP:
1) IDBT - Interlocked Digital Bandwidth Tracking (it matches the receiver
pass band
to the IF's and DSP systems.
2) VRF - Variable RF Front-end Filter (basically, a Hi-Q pre-selector)
3) Class A PA - This is the coolest part! In "Class A" operation, the output
goes into
Class A at 75 watts output. The 3rd order harmonics are down 50db! and
the 5th order products are down 80db!!!! Super clean output.
4) 200 watt (regular) output!
5) A new, integrated Shuttle Jog Control.
It'll cost around $3500 retail and the cosmetics are a little different. New
knobs. A few
re-located controls, but all the original one's are still there.
Looks like another winner!!!
