Hello,

I have been running my FT1000D for about two years now with DX4WIN with
no trouble.

However, I changed motherboards in my computer recently, and now I can't
get the radio to "talk" to the computer. I've tested the com port and it's
responding
correctly. Also checked: Windows to make sure the com settings were correct,
DX4WIN Preferences and everything is set correctly. I set the ports on the
board
in CMOS...nothing works. I reset the CPU in the radio, too. I'm using a
W1GEE
interface and it tests OK.

The error message I get from DX4WIN is error #3, that the radio did not
return the
data the computer expected. I did the test in DX4WIN and the test
responded with
a "timeout" message.

Any ideas??? If you do, please respond to me privately as I'm not
currently a list
subscriber, and I don't want to take up list space, either.

Thanks in advance to any who might have experience the same problem
