ANNOUNCE - Buyers Beware
Beware of a ham by the name of Scott T. Word KB5SLY of Brandywine,
MD. Scott advertised that he was selling a Yaesu 1000 D for $1800 plus
shipping A friend of
mine contacted him and made arrangements to send him a bank money
order in the amount of $1850. The check was cashed by Scott on the 24th
of March, 1999
and to this date no radio has been received and he can not contact
Scott either by phone or by email. The email address that Scott gave was
