Over a year ago I chose the 1000MP over the 'D (As well as a couple of
other rigs and brands)
for the following reasons:
1) The lastest techology for a rig of it's premium-type class ranking.
2) A noise blanker that really works! (Really now, not too many rigs can
boast about this.)
3) A DSP that is flexible and functions well.
4) Nearly commercial-like overload resistant in the receive mode.
Phasing noise not a problem.
5) The built-in switching-type power supply has no detectable (by ear)
"birdies" & such within the Ham bands.
